How To Get Over Loneliness (The Silent Killer)

This is going to blow your mind! Did you know that loneliness has the same negative impact on your health and longevity as smoking and obesity according to an article in Psychology Today magazine (written by Dr. Gary Winch August 2017)!

In fact, 60% of people in marriages report feeling lonely! What does this mean? Simple, loneliness kills! Married couples must date, pay attention to one another on a CONSISTENT basis to avoid feeling lonely. Husbands, you can no longer say that your primary role is to work and provide...unless you want your wife to suffer from loneliness (the same holds true for men...we get lonely too).

Single people who feel lonely, you must LISTEN to your feelings and be more social. Genesis 2:18 tells us that it is not good for us to be alone and God created helpers that are suitable for just us! You are sad because your current lifestyle is too isolated and it will kill you! Researchers predict that chronic loneliness takes 14% off of your life (10-12 years) and is as harmful as smoking and obesity!

So, get out of your negative mindset and relate. In the Bible, Hebrews 10:24-25 warns that we must not give up meeting with one another to encourage one another! Please, stop being a loner. It literally will kill you! Husbands, date your wives. Wives, date your husbands. Families, spend quality time paying attention to one another! God Bless!
