How To Overcome Grief & Loss (What Keeps Us "Stuck")


When it comes to grief and loss, it is always difficult to recover. However, there are three mindsets (three P's) that can keep us stuck in grief. Legendary psychologist, Dr. Martin Seligman, discovered:


3 P's (Mindsets) That Complicate Grief and Loss:

Personalization: The belief that we are at fault


Pervasiveness: The belief that an event will affect all areas of our life.


Permanence: The belief that the aftershocks of the event will last forever.


The hope is that a psychologist, counselor, mental health professional or advocate can you work through these harmful mindsets so you can cope with grief and loss better and with less psychological pain.
