I am personally inviting you to walk with me for mental health with NAMIWalks Georgia on Oct 4th at 9am because NAMI changes real lives right here at home. If you’ve ever stayed up worried about someone you love, this is for you.
Three Ways NAMI Georgia helps our community:
A real-life lifeline: Friendly, informed people who listen and point families to the right next step (not a bot, not a maze).
Free support & education: Peer groups and classes for individuals and families so no one has to navigate symptoms, crises, or recovery alone.
Early help for youth: School and community presentations that teach warning signs and how to get help before things get worse.
What Your Gift Does:
Puts a trained, caring voice on the line when someone finally asks for help (988 Helpline).
Keeps support groups and family education free across Georgia
Brings proven mental-health education into schools, churches, and neighborhoods
I’d love for you to walk with me—or, if you can’t make it, donate to fuel this work. Every step and every dollar says, “You’re not alone.” Join or give here:
